Being raised on a farm in rural WA gave Chris a strong work ethic, and a hands-on, practical approach to life. After graduating with Honours from Curtin University and starting his Engineering career in Bunbury, he eventually travelled to and settled in Canada for 12 years. Chris obtained his Canadian Professional Engineering Designation working in the manufacturing, oil, gas and forestry industries, eventually rising to the rank of Engineering Manager with 20 engineers and technologists reporting to him. The end of 2015 saw him return to the Great Southern with his family and a vision to create an Engineering firm committed to quality, innovation and customer service. The last 6 years has seen WECE grow and become the go-to industrial automation engineering firm for local industries ranging from Agriculture to Energy and Mining.
